About

I am a Singapore-based photographer and adjunct educator with the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, and have a passion for creating images that document architecture and public spaces as a visual archive of these spaces that may be lost to us for good. Photography has given me a wonderful opportunity to capture interesting architecture and the ever-changing city skyline of Singapore in a visual manner. I hope my images can be a substitute, however poor a substitute, for my children and the future generation.

It (photography) is one of my greatest passions and has been a way for me to express myself visually. The times spent researching a subject matter, visiting a location several times to make images, waiting for the right moment, all these are moments I find enjoyable and especially rewarding when I finally get the images I set out to make.

Since early 2020 right up to 2021, I have been lucky to be given opportunities to use photography as a means to communicate via a mentorship programme for secondary and tertiary education students with NParks, print sales to raise funds for migrant workers, a group exhibition regarding the pandemic, and contribute some of my work to an anthology of works by the students and faculty of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.

I regularly post on Instagram and have a Facebook Page for my photography projects.
